The award recognised Solvex’s delivery performance during a widespread isocyanate shortage that disrupted the broader polyurethane supply chain last year. Solvex maintained on-time delivery to the customer’s three assembly plants throughout the disruption by drawing on inventory buffers built specifically for this scenario.
“When the market got tight, they didn’t ration us — they told us the truth about what they had, early,” the customer’s supply chain director said in the award citation.
